What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a safe and effective therapeutic method of
temporarily bypassing the critical factor of the conscious
mind, which controls what information, is processed by the
subconscious mind. The hypnotic state also may give one a
feeling of profound mental and physical relaxation. While
being extremely focused and alert mentally, the hypnotherapist
assists you by making positive, helpful suggestions directly
to your ever-alert subconscious mind; thus, making you the
master of your conscious efforts.

Can Everyone Be
Hypnotized?
People differ in the degree to which they respond to hypnosis.
A person's ability to experience hypnosis can be inhibited by
fears and concerns arising from some common misconceptions.
Contrary to some depictions of hypnosis in books, movies or
television, people who have been hypnotized do not lose
control over their behavior. Unless amnesia has specifically
been suggested, people remain aware of who they are, where
they are, and remember what transpired during hypnosis.
Hypnosis makes it easier for people to experience suggestions,
but it does not force them to have these experiences.

What Can You Expect?
Every session begins with a pre–induction Interview and a
discussion of the client’s problems and goals. The
pre-induction interview is to help the client understand what
hypnosis is and how it can work for them. At this point, any
fears or misconceptions the client may have about hypnosis are
addressed.
Most clients have a fear of a loss of control, or not
awakening from a trance. Actually, the subject is never under
the control of the hypnotist, the subject hypnotizes
themselves.
Hypnosis is not sleep. The conscious mind is always alert
under hypnosis and the person’s senses are many times stronger
in the trance state than in the normal waking state, and the
subconscious is always protective.
Once the person’s needs are understood the actual hypnosis
will take place. This phase usually lasts about 20 minutes
depending on the issue being dealt with.

What Does It Feel
Like To Be Hypnotized?
How hypnosis feels is a lot like what you might
experience while in between falling asleep, and waking
yourself up. It is a comfortable feeling of relaxation that
allows your subconscious to come into the forefront of your
mind.
This state allows you the luxury of being relaxed, and
receptive to what is going on within your own thoughts
throughout the session. This will therefore allow you another
way to capture the knowledge you hold from within
